Born in Gelnica in 1975, studied culturology at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Prešov. Worked in various media, in the marketing department of a telecommunications company, tried work in an English bakery and Gelnica pub. Currently, he is the head of the Department of Culture, Sports and Leisure at the Municipal Office in Gelnica. His debut Milo nemilo [Pleasant Unpleasant] from the environment of an East Slovakian tavern was nominated for the Anasoft Litera Award, in which he also won the Reader’s Award: “Together with the author, you will set out on a journey through a unique, but guaranteed real, world hidden behind a bar counter, and sometimes even under it. While reading this book, you may want to drink or, conversely, stop drinking immediately.”
